And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
Post-Modern poetry covers many genres and time periods. Thus, while researching different styles and genres, my partner Peyton and I decided to further understand what eco-poetry was all about. Eco-poetry has a specific emphasis on nature and preserving it for its beauty. I discovered Robert Hass who is an extraordinary example of an eco-poet through his vivid expression of nature. Peyton chose to learn more about William Henry Davies, also a great writer about nature and earth. We both enjoy the outdoors, so these two poets complement our hobbies very well.
